Sofia Vergara

Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara was born in and lived within Barranquilla, Colombia. The mother of her child, Margarita Vergara Davila de Vergara, is a housewife. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is her father. He is the one who provides livestock for the industry of the meat. She is the youngest of five siblings. She went to an English/Spanish bilingual private school. Then she studied pre-dental. Sofia, however, was noticed at the beach by professional photographer. That led to being offered a variety of modeling and television roles. After her 23rd birthday when she started modeling, she was discovered as an actress. When she was in the United States, her travel show Fuera de serie, which she hosted from 1995-98 gave her exposure. Her first movie role was in the crime-comedy Big Trouble (2002). Gloria Delgado Pritchett was the part that led her to become an established star on Modern Family, an American television series (2009). For this role, she received four Emmy nominations between 2010-2013 for Outstanding Actress in Comedy Series. Sofia is a resident of Los Angeles with her son Manolo.
