Anita Barone

Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef that wanted Elaine Benes' shoes. She was in the crew of Carol & Company in early 1990s alongside actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex-wife in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show in order to be a part-time character in a larger role, took her place. She appeared on The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995 until 1996), and then on The War at Home from 2005 and 2007. Barone was also co-starring in Daddio. Barone received the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her performance as One Last Ride. Three years later, since The War at Home ended its run Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's actor husband, guest-starred in 2 episodes on Shake It Up in the character in the role of J.J. Jones.
