Annette Funicello did not only sing or act, but also acted. Annette Funicello was an actor in America and singer. As a teenager, she began her career in singing and became known for the hit song "Tall Paul" and "Pineapple Princess.' Annette was a shy child who grew up in Utica and was surrounded by Italian immigrants. To make her name in the entertainment business her first step was to begin dancing and perform. In the mid-1950s, she played in numerous Disney sketches as an actor in the group known as "Mouseketeers" and gained significant popularity.
